ABOUT BERNESE BABIES

An Honest Dog Breeder

Bernese Babies is nestled in the southwest corner of the Salt Lake Valley. We are a close-knit, family-operated breeder with a profound admiration for the Bernese Mountain Dog breed. These magnificent dogs are not just pets; they are a source of immeasurable joy and companionship. From the moment of birth, each puppy is enveloped in love and care, ensuring they are nurtured in a pristine, secure setting until they find their new forever homes. Our breeding girls, the devoted mothers of these pups, receive royal treatment as they raise their young with all the tenderness and affection they deserve.

BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG HISTORY

With roots tracing back Roman Molosser dogs, this breed was initially utilized a farm dog, excelling in herding cattle, guarding properties, and pulling carts. Gaining recognition in the 19th century, the Bernese Mountain Dog transitioned into a beloved show dog companion, officially recognized by the Swiss Kennel Club in 1907 and the American Kennel Club in 1937., they continue to serve as working dogs on farms while also being cherished as family pets.
